022 – Arduino

Today, I worked with my Arduino Uno, doing some basic exercises with it and the matching software on the Mac. Arduino is an open source electronics prototyping platform. There is a great documentary that was done about it, which you can find here. After watching that documentary a couple months ago, I decided that it would be a fun thing to play and experiment with. I am hoping to learn how to design custom electronic instruments or effects with it, but that is just one aspect of what it can do. No sounds or anything groundbreaking to post tonight, but I will continue learning about it and working through the ‘Getting Started with Arduino book by co-founder Massimo Banzi.
