014 – Drum Programming

The music I usually make is beatless, so I decided to challenge myself to create something that was more funky and beat driven. I programmed this in Logic. It is made up of a drum break that was chopped up, some random sounds, and I also played my Fender P-Bass on this. While I love ambient music, I also listen to a lot of jazz and electronic music, so this was a fun exercise.
