038 – Freeze Drones

Tonight I thought I would experiment with the Electro Harmonix Freeze pedal. This is a brief sampling of some of the sounds it can create. All you hear is guitar into the freeze pedal. I did a fade in on each sound in Logic just to separate the sounds. The first two are nice and harmonious and the second two are more noisy and mysterious. The first two drones were created the usual way, but playing chords and then engaging the pedal. The second two I created by sliding the pick down the strings or something like that.
