Creating Impulse Responses

Linked here is an impulse response from my Furman RV-1.  This is a rack-mounted spring reverb I picked up from a great local shop called ‘Pianos n Stuff‘.  Highly recommended if you live near Pittsburgh, PA, but they also have an online shop with good pricing.  This reverb has great, imperfect character, something that digital reverbs do not.  It is noisy and muddy, but I love the sound.
 
This was created using the Impulse Response Utility, which is included with Logic Pro.  I wanted to hear how close the Space Designer convolution reverb in Logic would sound to the real thing.  Feel free to use this in any of your projects.
