300 – Cathedral Pedal Modification


Tonight I modified my Electro-Harmonix Cathedral Reverb pedal so that I wouldn’t have to hold the footpedal down to turn on infinite mode, which sustains the chord or note I’ve played. This frees me up to do other things and let it run. It’s almost as good as having another freeze pedal. Here’s an example of a drone with some guitar harmonics on top of it:

The idea came from David Andree’s blog, which has inspired me to take on more DIY projects.
 
One other thing…this marks 300 posts for this thing-a-day project! I’m excited to finish the last 65 posts strongly + tackle some projects I’ve been wanting to take on.
