The longer cassette looping is slowly getting better. This is a loop made today. I’m finding that the trickiest part of this is getting the right tension for the tape. I’ve gotten the hang of actually splicing it together. On this loop, the tape was way too loose, so it started to warble and modulate a little bit. After a while, it seemed to settle and took on a pleasant quality. So, it was not a failure like the last attempt. I will probably keep this one for the warbly effect. My goal is to get one or two more reliable cassette loops made and start using them along with my looping pedals and reel to reel so I can come up with a live, computer-less system for creating music.
