176 – Moog Drone

This past thursday, Arturia gave away a version of their Minimoog-V plugin, which is a Bob Moog approved modeler. Usually, this software synth costs around $200, so this was a great opportunity to get the synth for free. If you missed it…I’m sad that you did. I’ve wanted a moog since I played one in the local music shop, but this will suppress my ‘gear appetite’ for now. The sound today is of some drone experiments I did with it today, combining different patches and controlling the cutoff filter for each one.
