060 – Ringtone

I set out to create a ringtone today. The goal was to make something that was inspired by 80’s synth music – I’m fond of the music of Harold Faltermeyer, especially the soundtrack from the movie Fletch. I used some Linndrum samples that I had and synth sounds in Logic Pro. This song is called “LED”. This turned out fairly well, especially since I wasn’t sure how the frequencies would translate to the iPhone speaker.
